HOPE is a non-denominational Christian church of real people, with real lives, families and busy schedules. Each Sunday morning is a time we come together and Worship Jesus Christ, to be refreshed and encouraged by the Word of God and enjoy fellowship with each other. But, we’re not just a bunch of faces; we are people united together by the love of Jesus Christ and we look forward to you visiting us. Whether you are just passing through our little town, looking for a church or just wondering what HOPE is all about, we welcome you!

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT HOPE

As you drive into the Hope Fellowship Church parking lot, you’ll drive past the main entrance to the parking lot.  If you have passengers to drop off you are welcome to drive under the portico for drop off at the front door.  Once inside, you’ll find greeters who will welcome you with information about our service and ushers are available to help you find seats if need.  You are also welcome to take a seat wherever you like. If you have toddlers, a staffed Toddler Church is available.  You can drop off your little ones, ages 1-4, with a staff member before the service starts or keep them with you.  A Nursery is available  for moms with infants if they should need it.   There are quite a few young families at Hope, so don’t hesitate to join us if you have children. They are welcome in the service if you want to keep them with you.

We start our service at 10:45 am with Announcements followed by an uplifting time of WORSHIP. Our dynamic Worship Team shares their gifts and love of music on a full set of instruments. Drums, guitars, keyboard, piano, and vocals lead us in a mix of contemporary christian music and traditional hymns. You will see some standing with hands upraised, and others sitting and singing along. Up front are screens with the lyrics to the songs and your bulletin includes a printed copy, so you can easily follow along.

Following Worship, there will be a time of PRAYER & SHARE. One of the elders will lead, taking prayer requests. Its also a time where some will share what God is doing in their lives and how He has answered prayer. The elder will often share what God is doing in his life or share something encouraging, then lead us in a time of prayer. At times, we switch things up a bit and you’ll hear about a mission trip experience or a ministry update.

Next, will be a TEACHING by our Pastor, Jordan Moody taken from scripture and relative to today. Occasionally, one of the other elders or a guest speaker will share a message. You’re welcome to follow along in your bible, your phone, or use one of the bibles from under the seats. We close the service around noon with a prayer and final worship song. Many hang out afterwards and catch up with each other, while some leave right away.

Dress is casual. You’ll see people in jeans and t-shirts and others in dresses and casual jackets and ties- flip flops or heels, there’s no need to worry about what to wear. And if you didn’t finish your coffee on the way in, bring it in with you!

If you visit on FELLOWSHIP SUNDAY, which is the 2nd Sunday of every month, we’ll serve coffee along with some delicious bakery! Just a note, Fellowship Sunday schedule is a bit different. Feel free to either come at 10:30 when fellowship starts, 11:00 when the service starts, or any time in between.
